Shopify no longer allows merchants who are on the Pause and Build plan to create orders and the checkout is also disabled.  This means if you are on a Pause and Build plan you will need to upgrade your Shopify store to an active plan in order to import your orders.  Here are the instructions on how to upgrade your Shopify plan if you're unsure how to do so.

We do understand that this hasn't always been the case and that you used to be able to import orders even when you were on the Pause and Build plan.  Shopify made this change at the end of February 2021.  If you have further questions about this or anything else please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know.
