You may want to add a delay to your order CSV exports based on the order's created date if you allow your customers to edit or cancel orders within a certain time period so you don't accidentally fulfill them.

For example, the customer may have forgotten to add an item or they realize you offer free shipping if they purchase a certain amount.  So instead of placing a new order, they'd want to edit the last one they placed instead.

In this scenario, you'd want to add a delay to your automated order expors to your warehouse or 3PL based on the order's creation/placement date.  This would ensure that exported orders are past the point of editing and cancellation before the warehouse starts the fulfillment process.
