Automatically Fulfill Multiple Files With EZ Fulfill

Our fulfillment app, EZ Fulfill, now allows you to fulfill your Shopify orders in multiple files with our new wildcard syntax. The wildcard syntax can be used to pull your files automatically from FTP, SFTP or Dropbox. When we launched the app we built a variable syntax that allows you to specify your file names using date variables.

Today we're launching a new feature that allows you to use wildcards. The wildcard syntax allows EZ Fulfill to do pattern matching on the file name. This is useful if you have multiple files that get written to your directory and you want them all to be processed within the same scheduled run. In order to use the new wildcard syntax, open your data feed and add {{ * }} to your file path.

Wildcard syntax in your data feeds file path

From here, save your data feed and EZ Fulfill will use the wildcard when pulling your files from your FTP server or Dropbox. For a full run down of our supported syntax and how to use them, click here.

We believe adding the wildcard syntax, with our other supported variables, allows you the flexibility to fulfill your orders automatically without having to make drastic changes to your process. Our scheduler allows you to easily setup a process that will update tracking numbers, send fulfillment emails to your customers and mark your orders fulfilled all with out human interaction.
