Download Errors In EZ Importer

Working with large imports can be hard and time consuming. When doing large imports there is a good chance you'll run into orders that can't be imported for some reason. Because of this we've built a new feature in EZ Importer that allows you to download your errors, fix them and re-import.

Once your import has finished go to the Import Review page. Here you can view how many of your orders were successfully imported. We also display a list of errors that have occurred during your import.

As you can see we are displaying the first 10 errors from the import. This will give you an idea of why an order may have NOT been imported. From here, you can click the Download button next to the Error Messages description. When you click the Download button EZ Importer will run an export of all imports that have errors. The CSV export will contain all data from the orders that have errors.

We've built the export to look just like your original import so you no longer need to dig through your original import file looking for the orders that have errors. You can simply look at the error message column and edit the invalid data. Once you've finished editing the data you can use the same data mapping from your original import and re-import the new file.

We hope this new way of handling errors makes importing even easier!
