We recently launched a new feature that allows you to obey your inventory's policy when importing orders with EZ Importer. It's a request we've had from many customers who use our inventory management feature when importing orders. Before we launched this feature if you reduced your products inventory on import and that products inventory was 0 the order would still import and still reduce your products inventory bringing it below 0. For many customers this doesn't make sense.

When reducing inventory while importing orders you can now obey your inventory's policy. This means if you have the "Allow customers to purchase this product when it's out of stock" checkbox checked on your product's page in Shopify EZ Importer will not import orders that will reduce your products inventory below 0.

If you want to enable this feature, go to your imports data mapping and click the Reduce Inventory Obey Policy setting.

Although EZ Importer is not an inventory management system, we've found that being able to manage your products inventory on import is a huge time savor for our customers. We hope this new feature will help you better manage your products inventory while doing your daily/weekly or monthly imports.
