Mark Orders Paid With EZ Fulfill

We're excited to announce that you can now mark your Shopify orders paid when fulfilling orders with EZ Fulfill.  This has been on our road map since we launched and we think this will help merchants who need to automatically fulfill their orders on Shopify.

Many Shopify merchants capture payment using a third party and have the order flow into Shopify.  This means Shopify may authorize the payment but the payment isn't actually taken in Shopify.  The payment may even be marked as pending as you've captured it entirely outside of Shopify.  Marking the order paid can now be done through EZ Fulfill when you're fulfilling your orders.

Configuring Your Orders To Be Marked Paid

Setting up your orders to be marked paid during fulfillment is extremely easy.  By default EZ Fulfill will not change the fulfillment status or add any transactions when marking your order fulfilled.  If you want to mark you order fulfilled, simply click the Mark Order Paid option on your Data Feed.

That's all you need to do, after you've selected this option any order that has a financial status of pending or authorized will have their orders marked paid after they've been fulfilled.

Transaction Details

When marking your orders paid, EZ Fulfill will create a transaction on your order to satisfy any pending transactions or create a new transaction for the amount of the order if no transactions are pending.  Once all of the transactions are satisfied Shopify marks the order paid.  You'll notice the transaction entry created by EZ Fulfill in your orders timeline.
