We've recently pushed an update to EZ Exporter to allow our users to see which Shopify reports are currently being generated. This is especially useful for users with large amounts of data where the report could take some time to generate.

We've added a new tab in the app called "Running Tasks" to show all report tasks that are currently running. Our app runs all reports in the background, so if you click the "Download" or "Run" buttons manually and accidentally closed the browser, the tasks will actually continue to run.

With this new feature, there is now a way for you to check whether the report generation is still in progress.
