EZ Exporter now supports the new Collection model introduced in the latest Shopify API version (2026-07).

Shopify released an update last month to Collections which is a complete redesign.  This new redesign is currently being rolled out to Shopify stores.

This new update deprecated the "Collection types" (Smart/Automated Collections and Custom/Manual Collections).

The Shopify Admin UI now looks something like this:

As you can see in the screenshot, it allows for more flexible conditions, such as being able to create a collection using multiple existing collections as the sources.

Because of this big change, new collections created after the Shopify store has been migrated to the new Collection model won't show up in API versions older than 2026-07.  We've alread updated EZ Exporter to this latest version, so those new collections will now show when exporting Collections data.

We've added the following fields as well in the Collection Data Settings:

• description
• resource_publications.publication.channels.handle
• resource_publications.publication.channels.id
• resource_publications.publication.channels.name
• seo.description
• seo.title
